Calendar Bible

The Bible's own chronology

About This Page

This page is intended to present a calendar based on the following principles:

  • Each date constitutes a separate discussion topic on the forum, intended for debate, calculations, and commentary.

    • Each verse cited is assigned a status: confirmed, under analysis, or to be clarified.

  • The calendar is publicly accessible, but posting opinions and discussions on the forum is reserved for registered users logged in under their own email address (e.g. xxxxx@calendarbible.org).

  • The website is maintained in multiple languages, and all quoted verses are taken from the corresponding translations of each language — for example:

    • English: American Standard Version (ASV, 1901)

    • Hebrew: Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (BHS)

    • Polish: Biblia Tysiąclecia, 2nd edition.

  • All dates are derived exclusively from the Bible.

  • Whenever historical chronology differs from biblical chronology (for example, the date of the Exodus or the conquest of Babylon by Cyrus), the date presented here follows the biblical record.

  • The calendar shown here is the biblical lunar calendar, counted consistently from the day of Adam’s creation and according to lunar years and months, from evening to evening, in accordance with the Bible.

  • The structure of the calendar includes key periodic dates derived from Scripture, such as:

    • Every 490 years on the 14th of Nisan (the day of Isaac’s offering, the Passover, and the Last Supper);

    • At the end of every 49 years, counted from the Exodus, we designate a Sabbatical year, and the following year as the Jubilee
